The Lake Cumberland Community Action Partnership will again have the low-income energy assistance program that provides heating assistance to eligible households.  Applications will be taken at 410 East Mt. Vernon Street in Somerset through Friday, December 11th in alphabetical order of the last name of the head of the household. For info, call 679-6203.

 

Anyone wishing to help the family of Southwestern Soccer player Chris Campbell with medical expenses may make donations to the The Chris Campbell Fund.  Donations are being accepted at L&N Federal Credit Union at Grand Central Place.  Chris was seriously injured in an automobile accident in August.    

 

God’s Food Pantry is now selling copies of its First Edition Pantry’s Favorite Cookbook with nearly 400 local recipes.  The cost is $10 per book.  For more information, call the Pantry at 679-8560.
